Association membership continues rebound, report says

Marketing firm cites another year of growth and recovery from recession; nearly a quarter of associations grew 6 percent or more For the second year in a row, a slight majority of associations saw an increase in membership from the previous year, according to Marketing General Incorporated's 2013 Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report. Based on a survey with 695 trade associations and professional societies participating, the MGI report shows that 52 percent of groups claimed an increase in membership this year, the same percentage as last year.
